Imagine my utter glee when I see that I am being offered an opportunity to review some Biscuiteers biscuits. I didn’t ever think I would see the day. Even better, this is ahead of Valentine’s Day and one of the things the boyfriend is partial to? Biscuits.
WHO ARE BISCUITEERS?
Biscuiteers are big online and are featured regularly by online content creators. Mostly it seemed to be by the bigger bloggers and YouTubers talking about them both through gifting opportunities and through them buying tins as presents. They have always looked divine and such a lovely thoughtful treat as a gift for something special.
So, with the opportunity available to me, I hatched a plan to surprise him on Valentine’s Day. Of course, he will have to share them with me. You may know me as someone often following Slimming World to help me stay healthy, but we all deserve a little treat from time to time!
Now, just to be clear, these biscuits were sent to me in return for an honest review. However, as always, the thoughts and opinions are my own.
I chose the Vintage Love
There is a huge range to choose from on the Biscuiteers website with their Valentine’s range available at this time of year. The options available for Valentine’s are also much wider than the 3 offered for review, so there are lots of price options available. Checking out the different products online led me through the whole site. Suffice to say, I cooing over the flower power and love bird anniversary tins. These, alongside the love letter tin, look especially amazing.
Even when the postman handed me the tin I had a huge smile plastered on my face. The delivery boxes are decorated with a cute design and receiving the box was a happy moment. I couldn’t wait to crack it open and take a peek.
Undoing the box reveals the beautiful, high-quality tin, and popping off the lid reveals tasteful papers covering the sweet, sweet inside.
As eager fingers peeled open the paper and lifted the interior, two things were immediately apparent. The biscuits smelled divine, sweet, biscuity (dur..) and mouthwatering. Then as the individual biscuits came into view, you see the infamous, detailed and heavenly handcrafted icing.
This tin consists of three layers of biscuits which vary in size. The designs vary across a range of love letter themed shapes including hearts and envelopes.
Online, the description lists 9 biscuits but there were actually ten in my tin. Having photographed the biscuits to create this post, repackaging them left a niggle of disappointment. Valentine’s Day was still a little way away. Happily, the biscuits all have at least a 1 month shelf life from the time that they leave the Biscuiteers kitchen for delivery. As a result, I have no worries about opening them beforehand.
Just look at how pretty the biscuits are! Almost too good to eat! Almost.
An added bonus is the opportunity to add a personalised message to the tin, should you wish to. This option makes it perfect for gifting a tin to a loved one or friend. Here you can see the message card, again decorated with simple but super cute designs..
So, there they are. This is such a lovely thing to be able to treat the boyfriend to and I can’t wait to see what he thinks. I also can’t wait to try them myself to give you my thoughts. I will check back in at some point to let you know how it went!
Have you tried Biscuiteers? So far, I have fantastic first impressions and with such a gorgeous smell emanating from the tin, I am sure they will taste just as good.
