Do you think so? For me, weight loss does, in some way, lead to happiness. For some people it might even be the key to happiness but that isn’t the case for me. I do, however, agree that it can be key when it comes to my confidence and confidence, for me, supports a happier life.

I hope that you might find this relatable in some way but also that it might inspire you to consider your own habits and whether you can incorporate it into your own life.
Hello everyone and welcome to another instalment of my Happiness is… series. Stress is such a big part of our lives these days, with so many priorities and responsibilities and so relaxation can take a back seat. Even when people try to relax, they can feel lazy, guilty and/or selfish for taking time for themselves. If you are anything like me, you need a measure of both pressure and chill time, and with stress also being such a widespread health concern, we need to forget the negative thoughts about relaxing and accept that we need to achieve some balance.
In my last video called ‘being mindful‘, I talked about mindfulness, and how being mindful is a way to train our emotional resilience. This, in turn, helps us to stay happy. One of the tips I mentioned was to notice the little things and as for me, happiness is… loving the little things, here are some of the little things that I love.
Having introduced my Happiness is… series, and touched the surface of some of the things that can feed into unhappiness, I am beginning my Happiness is… journey with mindfulness. Not all of the content in this series will be about mindfulness, but it certainly has such strong links to practices that can work to increase our happiness.
Having introduced my happiness is… series recently, I thought that it would be sensible to discuss Stress, Anxiety and Depression as issues that contribute to unhappiness.
First off, it is purely a happy coincidence that on the day of publishing this post, it happens to be International Day of Happiness. I didn’t know that there was a day allocated to celebrating happiness, but what a fantastically relevant start to a series!
