Here we are again ladies and gents. Formally known as The Calorie Club, Fabulous Planning have more amazing product releases and I have three of them here to show you. The products this brand offer have supported me immensely on my weight loss journey. So, here is another Fabulous Planning product review.
Long time readers of my blog will know that I have previously reviewed products by this brand. The food diaries are products that I have known, used and loved for a long while. I talked about their original style food diaries and then subsequently took a look at some updated products. All of them have been super helpful and cutely designed.
One thing is for sure, this brand is on the up. The number of updates and new releases in the last few years has been phenomenal and their products continually improve. With a big prescence on instagram and having listened to customer feedback, they have adjusted their range to make the individual items stronger, and redesigned the internal aspects where necessary.
For this review, I have the ‘if you bite it write it’ meal planner A5 booklet, a pretty pink bookmark and also an A5 recipe book. The recipe book and bookmark were gifted to me by Fabulous Planning to review, however, the meal planner was in return for completing a feedback survey. So, let’s take a look:
As with many of the new style items, the fabulously bright coloured A5 Meal Planner opens with a useful metric comparison page. You can complete the My Personal Meal Planner page and are provided with some useful instructions on how to use the book. You can include details of your expenses on relevant pages and there is space for notes should you wish to make some. Then comes page after page of meal planning and shopping list space. Perfect, the meal planner is one of my favourite items.
The helpful shopping list includes sections for those items needed urgently, ingredients, supplies, room for ‘other’ and then notes with plenty of room for your lists in each block.
The meal planning pages comprise 3 columns in 7 rows with space for titles. This is a tried and tested design which features in their other meal planning products.
You may have seen that Fabulous Planning also offer a tear-off meal planner in both A5 and A4 as a fridge magnet pad. You can find out more about those here.
How cute is this! These paperclips are sold individually for £3.50 or a set of 5 is £15. There are several designs to chose from and are all available on the Fabulous Planning website. Great for keeping track of where you are in your diary or for clipping in extras as needed.
In line with the Meal Planner, the A5 recipe book, with its soft pink palette cover, opens with a useful metric comparison page. Page two holds a recipe index for ease of use and then sections for your favourite recipes with page reference and notes. Then you get into the individual recipe sections. With the brand’s trademark cute designs, the individual recipe pages include space for a recipe name, prep time, reference, cooking time, information, dietary values, ingredients and instructions. There is also space to stick a little picture of your listed dish.
And that is it for this review. Do note that there are more products available at http://fabulousplanning.co.uk including A5 organisers and inserts. Happily, Fabulous Planning offer lots of affordable options to help you on your way to your health and fitness goals. Check them out on Instagram @fabulousplanning also to see more and enter the weekly giveaways.
I really hope that you have enjoyed this Fabulous Planning product review and might consider trying out some of the great items they have developed. As I mentioned, they have listened closely and often ask for feedback in order to improve the design and quality of the items. The diaries have been customised and so can be used with a number of weight loss programmes and there are lots of fun and inspiring covers to chose on. Go check them out!
