Wahoo! I am still in the game! Ok, so I am only just over a week back on plan but I am back on it and feeling better!

Slimming World - Still in the game

Result: 1.25lbs down. Annoyingly, the scales that I would usually weigh myself on are, again, unavailable, so I have had to use others which have recorded a 1.25lb loss. Probably the smallest first-week loss I have ever had but still, a loss is a loss and I will continue on to the next weigh day.

Something I discovered about myself this week is linked to meal planning, however, this time it relates to the actual preparation of food. My current routine is to get in from work and start working on my blog, but as I become engrossed and get carried away, time zips by and, before I know it, it is getting late.

Slimming World - Back in the game

What happens at this point is frustrating and I find that I am flagging and disinclined when it comes to preparing the food I have made such an effort to plan. This then leads me to not eat anything at all (less frequent), or grab something easy which usually is not something Slimming World friendly!

So, to counter this I switched up my routine. If having meat and roasted vegetables for dinner, I would get home and undertake the preparations ready for later. Then, having worked on blog and Youtube content for a while, it was a huge relief to only have to put the chopped and seasoned veggies into the oven and cook the meat. As simple as this is, it is one of my greatest discoveries when it comes to Slimming World in a busy life, and I am so pleased that I have sussed this out about myself, it puts a smile on my face when I think about it. The small things eh?
