Slimming World – The Synful, Social Me

This week has been peppered with social engagements and, me being me, I have indulged in the usual style. When at home I have stayed on plan but, whilst out, I have enjoyed the finer things – you know how it is. Wine, pizza, garlic bread, olives and baked camembert have all featured whilst catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.

Only a Monday to Friday table this week. Saturday and Sunday have been entirely off plan and I was so over excited by all of the goodies, I forgot to take pictures and record it all. Naughty, naughty. It was great though and I didn't even eat an Easter egg!

As a result, I have returned to my starting weight. I am smiling and shaking my head at myself right now as it really is ok. I have had a lovely week and now face a quiet week of normality. With no particular plans, it should mean that I am able to keep within the Slimming World limits and, hopefully, lose again next week.

For me, life is about balance. Yes, I am keen to lose some weight and I would like to feel fitter and healthier, but I also want to enjoy life, work hard and be happy. I recently introduced my ‘Happiness is…’ series and moving forward, I am going all out to try to find that balance and establish what it takes to achieve that equilibrium.
