Hello everyone and welcome to Food Friday! Today I have another What I Eat In A Day video for you, one where I actually stick to plan and don’t zoom off the rails on the chocolate orange segments….

Today was just another average day at home, filming videos, editing and uploading. So, today I ate:


Egg on toast again today but after last week’s video, I am avoiding the scramble… ick. This is one of my favourite breakfasts at the moment. Often it lacks speed but it is easy and quick and satisfying.


Aldi’s BBQ Pork Fillet for today. I love this stuff and at 2.5 syns for the whole fillet, what’s not to love! I paired some of the fillet (about 1 syn) with some salad leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze (2 syns) then scoffed the lot. Absolute blaze and one of my favourite meals at the moment.


Tonight was the first attempt at a recipe I have been wanting to try for a while. I had a look online for recipes but in the end, opted for the version on the Two Chubby Cubs blog. This recipe uses smash as the coating… syns wise I’m not sure how this stands, however, with such a low syn day going on I wasn’t too worried. One thing I would say is that the recipe took quite a while together and was a bit of a faff. As per usual I had to adapt the recipe slightly but I would definitely make the recipe again as it tasted delicious! I do, however, absolutely feel like I would need to refine the process to shorten the timescales and slicken things up.
